The School of Education, Walailak University participated in the 1st Meeting of the Thailand Deans Council of Education (2026). The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Charun Bunyakan, Vice President for Academic Affairs (Humanities and Social Sciences) and Acting Dean of the School of Education.

 

Also attending the meeting were Assistant Professor Dr. Pongpan Compan, Associate Dean, and Ajarn. Thongchai Prommachan, Head of the Division of Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Social Studies.

 

The participation aimed to strengthen the School’s institutional visibility, build collaborative networks with key organizations and educational leaders, and exchange knowledge and best practices in teacher education aligned with professional standards set by the Teachers’ Council of Thailand.

The meeting also fostered collaboration among member institutions of the Thailand Deans Council of Education in order to enhance the quality of teacher preparation and strengthen the teaching profession at the national level.
