On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the School of Education at Walailak University organized the “Parent Meeting for the Class of 2026 (Generation 69)” at the Main Conference Hall, Thaiburi Building, Walailak University. The event was held in an atmosphere of warmth, trust, and collaboration between the university and parents, with the shared goal of supporting and nurturing future educators throughout their academic journey.

The event was honored by the presence of **Associate Professor Dr. ** Charun Bunyakan , Vice President for Academic Affairs in Humanities and Social Sciences and Acting Dean of the School of Education, who delivered the welcoming remarks. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education that develops students into professional teachers equipped with academic excellence, strong moral values, and essential future skills.

Following the opening session, **Assistant Professor Dr. ** Pongpan Compan , Acting Associate Dean of the School of Education, presented information about the academic programs, teaching and learning approaches, and student development initiatives. He highlighted the university’s efforts to provide both classroom and experiential learning opportunities, preparing students to become innovative educators who can meet the demands of 21st-century education.

One of the most memorable moments of the event was the activity titled “Messages of Hope for Future Teachers.” Parents were invited to write heartfelt messages, words of encouragement, and aspirations for their children on cards and letters. These messages of love and support will later be delivered to the students, serving as a meaningful source of inspiration throughout their journey toward the teaching profession.

The program also featured a panel discussion on “The School of Education: Strengths, Learning Experiences, and Opportunities for Future Teachers.” The session provided valuable insights into the school’s distinctive educational opportunities and student development programs. The panel included Ajarn Thongchai Prommachan , who shared information on academic affairs; Ajarn Treenuch Chaowanakritsanakul , Acting Head of the Language Teaching Program, who discussed outbound programs and international teaching practicum opportunities; and Ajarn Kedkarn Phanwiriyarat , Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, who highlighted initiatives that promote student potential and well-being.

This event reflected the School of Education’s strong commitment to creating a “home of warmth and support,” fostering meaningful partnerships among the university, parents, and students. Through this collaborative effort, the School continues to empower future teachers to grow into competent, compassionate, and happy professionals throughout their educational journey
