The School of Education, Walailak University, Thailand, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration with Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines, on 4 March 2026 at Rico Fajardo Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

The signing ceremony was attended by administrators, faculty members, and students from the College of Education, NEUST, along with distinguished international guests who witnessed this important occasion. The event began with an opening ceremony and welcome remarks by Atty. Eric G. Claudio, PhD, Director of the International Affairs Office of NEUST, who emphasized the significance of collaboration between the two universities. The signing of this MOU marks an important starting point for building stronger academic networks and future cooperation.

The MOU signing represents a significant step in strengthening collaboration between NEUST and Walailak University, aiming to promote knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and various academic activities between the two institutions.

On this occasion, Dr. Jean N. Guillasper, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training of NEUST, delivered welcome remarks and expressed appreciation to the international delegates who participated in the ceremony. Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kiki Juli Anggoro, Acting Assistant Dean for International Affairs, School of Education, Walailak University, expressed sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by NEUST and stated:

“We are happy to return your hospitality when you visit us at Walailak University.”

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Jo Neil T. Peria, Dean of the College of Education, NEUST, who expressed his appreciation for the beginning of this partnership with Walailak University and highlighted that this international collaboration would play an important role in advancing knowledge and strengthening educational cooperation between the two institutions.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both universities to expanding international academic networks and promoting the development of education, research, and academic exchange at the global level.
