Walailak University School of Education Enhances Students’ Global Competence through SEA-Teacher Program
The School of Education at Walailak University continues to strengthen students’ global competencies by sending nine students to participate in the SEA-Teacher Program in the Indonesia for a one-month teaching practicum and exchange experience.
Five students majoring in English will undertake their placement at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) in Yogyakarta. Meanwhile, another group comprising two Early Childhood Education majors, two Physical Education majors, and one English major will be hosted by Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) in Semarang.
This program aims to provide students with opportunities to develop their teaching skills in an international context, gain professional teaching experience, engage in cultural exchange, and enhance their language and communication competencies at a global level.
On this occasion, Trinuch Chaowanakritsanakul accompanies the students to closely supervise and provide guidance throughout the program.
The SEA-Teacher Program serves as a significant platform in preparing future teachers to become professional educators in the 21st century, while also fostering sustainable international academic collaboration networks.
