Walailak University Education Students Depart for Indonesia to Join SEA-Teacher Batch 11, Enhancing International Teaching Experience
Students from the School of Education at Walailak University have departed for the Indonesia to participate in the SEA-Teacher Program (Batch 11), aiming to enhance their international teaching experience and professional skills.
On April 7, 2026, four students—two majoring in Physical Education, one in Social Studies, and one in English—began their one-month journey to Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) to take part in the program.
The program provides an opportunity for students to develop their teaching competencies in an international context, gain hands-on experience in foreign classrooms, and strengthen their English communication skills. It also allows them to adapt to multicultural environments and exchange educational knowledge with international students and faculty members.
In addition, participants will engage in real classroom teaching practice, explore the education system, and experience the cultural diversity of Indonesia. These experiences are expected to play a vital role in shaping them into professional teachers in the future.
The SEA-Teacher Program serves as a key platform for fostering international academic collaboration and enhancing the quality of graduates to meet global standards.
