SEDU – Partnership with NEUST

The School of Education at Walailak University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines, on March 4, 2026, at Rico Fajardo Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus.

The signing ceremony was attended by administrators, faculty members, and students from the College of Education at NEUST, along with international guests who witnessed the occasion. The event began with an opening ceremony and welcome remarks by Eric G. Claudio, Director of the International Affairs Office at NEUST. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between the two universities and highlighted that the MOU marks the beginning of future academic partnerships and networks.

The MOU signing represents an important step in strengthening collaboration between NEUST and Walailak University, aiming to promote knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and various academic activities between the two institutions.

On this occasion, Jean N. Guillasper, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training of NEUST, also delivered welcome remarks and expressed appreciation to the international delegates attending the ceremony. Meanwhile, Kiki Juli Anggoro, Acting Assistant Dean for International Affairs of the School of Education at Walailak University, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by NEUST and stated:

“We are happy to give back your hospitality once you visit us at Walailak University.”

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Jo Neil T. Peria, Dean of the College of Education at NEUST, who expressed his delight at the beginning of this collaboration with Walailak University. He also highlighted that this international partnership will play a significant role in advancing knowledge and strengthening educational cooperation between the two institutions.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of both universities to expanding international academic networks and promoting the development of education, research, and academic exchanges at the global level.
