Walailak University Students Fly to Vietnam to Join the SEA-Teacher International Teaching Practicum Program
Students from the School of Education, Walailak University, have been selected to participate in an international teaching exchange under the SEA-Teacher Project. Four students will undertake a one-month teaching practicum at Dong Thap University of Education in Vietnam.
The participating students are:
Kittiphop Khamprasert, a second-year student majoring in English
Suwijak Tanthiwivat, a third-year student majoring in English
Kanokphon Nanwong, a third-year student majoring in English
Arissara Ratchak, a second-year student majoring in Thai
During the program, the four students will gain hands-on teaching experience in an international school environment while engaging in cultural exchange and sharing educational perspectives with students and faculty members from the host university in Vietnam.
The SEA-Teacher Project is a regional educational initiative in Southeast Asia that provides opportunities for pre-service teachers to develop teaching skills in an international context. The program also helps participants build cross-cultural communication skills and gain insights into the education systems of neighboring countries.
Participation in this program marks another significant milestone for students from the School of Education at Walailak University, supporting their development into globally competent teachers while expanding their learning experiences and academic networks across the ASEAN region.
