Walailak University School of Education Collaborates with Botanical Garden to Prepare for Scout Camp and Leadership Training
Executives, faculty members, and academic staff from the School of Education at Walailak University convened a meeting with the management team of the Walailak University Botanical Garden to prepare facilities and plan extracurricular activities. These preparations are aimed at organizing a scout camp and scout leadership training program as part of enhancing student competencies.
The initiative is designed to align with the learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Education program, as well as professional teaching standards set by the Teachers Council of Thailand. It focuses on developing students’ knowledge, professional skills, instructional competencies, and essential characteristics of being effective teachers.
In addition, the activities aim to promote experiential learning, the integration of theoretical knowledge with real-world contexts, and the development of leadership skills—key elements in preparing students for a high-quality teaching profession.
The meeting was held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum, Walailak University.
