On January 28, 2026, the School of Education, Walailak University, hosted the closing ceremony and farewell celebration, “Inter Night,” for exchange students from Dong Thap University (DThU), Vietnam, at Weda Cafe. The event brought together exchange students from Vietnam, students from Indonesia, and Walailak University students in a warm and friendly atmosphere that celebrated international friendship, cultural diversity, and meaningful connections developed throughout the exchange program.

On this occasion, Dr. Pongpan Kamphon, Acting Associate Dean of the School of Education, warmly welcomed and joined the farewell for the exchange students. The event highlighted the importance of international learning experiences in broadening students’ academic and cultural perspectives, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, and strengthening relationships among students from different countries.

Inter Night provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on and celebrate the experiences they had shared throughout the exchange program. During their time at Walailak University, the exchange students had opportunities to engage with fellow students, experience different learning environments, and exchange perspectives on education, language, culture, and everyday life. These experiences contributed to the development of essential skills, including intercultural communication, adaptability, teamwork, and an appreciation of cultural diversity.

The evening was filled with smiles, memorable moments, and a strong sense of friendship. Musical performances by the Buddies and Vietnamese students added a lively and enjoyable atmosphere to the celebration. The event also provided a meaningful space for students to share their experiences, impressions, and memories of their time together at Walailak University, making the farewell a memorable conclusion to the exchange program.

The event also reflected the strong cooperation between the School of Education, Walailak University, and Dong Thap University in promoting student mobility and international educational experiences. Such activities play an important role in preparing students to learn, communicate, and work effectively in increasingly diverse and multicultural environments.

The School of Education, Walailak University, extends its best wishes to all exchange students for continued success in their studies, future careers, and personal endeavors. The School sincerely hopes that the friendships, experiences, and memories created during the program will continue to strengthen the connection among students and between the two institutions.

Walailak University looks forward to welcoming the students back again in the future and to continuing opportunities for academic, cultural, and educational exchange that strengthen international friendship and cooperation.
