On February 11, 2026, Walailak University (WU), Thailand, and Universitas Siliwangi, Republic of Indonesia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation and expand international collaboration between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was held at the Mokhalan Meeting Room, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University.

The MoU was officially signed by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, and Professor Dr. Ir. Nundang Busaeri, Rector of Universitas Siliwangi. The ceremony was witnessed by executives, faculty members, and representatives from both universities, reflecting their shared commitment to developing a strong and sustainable academic partnership.

The collaboration marks another important step in strengthening academic networks between higher education institutions in Thailand and Indonesia, as well as enhancing cooperation within the ASEAN region.
